Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking an experienced Program Manager to translate roadmaps and product definitions into executable work across Data Products & Analytics, Platform Engineering, and Data Science/ML. You will be an individual contributor, focusing on artifacts, epics, and a tight program rhythm, without direct PE or DS sprint ownership.

The role requires strong Jira fluency, an ability to draft usable epics for senior engineers, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
7+ years in program or project management within data or software delivery.
Strong ability to draft usable epics for senior engineers.
Fluency with Jira as a process designer, not just a user.
Proven cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Convert roadmap items into epics sized for DS and PE sprint planning.
Draft independently and iterate with technical leads before work goes on a board.
Own epic structure, acceptance criteria, sequence, and dependencies.
Maintain a Ready-to-Execute standard and ensure epics are well defined.
Track work across DP&A, DS, and PE boards and provide visibility.
Identify sequencing conflicts and cross-team dependencies early.
Own the DP&A Jira process, board structure, and sprint cadence.
Facilitate planning, review, and retro ceremonies focused on decisions.
Manage the backlog so Jira reflects actual work.
Set the standard for epic and process quality across DP&A.
