Job summary

265 DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION seeks a Project Manager, Data Agency to oversee the SoonerStart statewide data system and ensure compliance with IDEA Part C and 34 CFR § 303.700. This in-person role manages data submissions, reports, and targeted technical assistance needs based on data outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading data leadership efforts, system oversight, analytics reporting, interagency collaboration, staff training, and federal reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, business, policy analysis or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience within the SoonerStart program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (minimum intermediate level).

Responsibilities

• Data Leadership: Lead all federally required Data Manager responsibilities for SoonerStart under 34 CFR § 303.700.
• System Oversight: Maintain statewide data systems and ensure data integrity and FERPA compliance.
• Analytics Reporting: Develop and present analytical reports reflecting services and outcomes.
• Interagency Relations: Establish data-sharing agreements with partner agencies as needed.
• Staff Support: Train and assist state/local personnel on data system use and best practices.
• Data Reporting: Prepare federally mandated reports including APR, SSIP and related submissions.
• Quality Assurance: Support audits, evaluations, and corrective actions for program quality.
