Job summary

Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is seeking a Data Coordinator I to support management and analysis of student data, including STN assignment processes. The role collaborates with district personnel and internal teams to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position requires in-person presence in Oklahoma City and does not offer remote options. A math/CS-related bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience are preferred, with knowledge of data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (official transcripts required).
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer services, technical support, or educational clerical work.
  • Equivalent education/experience to meet required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Analysis: assist with STN assignment and resolution and ensure compliance with data requirements.
  • District & Stakeholder Support: act as primary contact for district personnel seeking data assistance.
  • Documentation & Reporting: maintain technical docs and logs; prepare reports on data activities.
  • Training & Development: develop training for LEA and state staff on STN processes.
  • Office Coordination & Administration: coordinate requisitions, inventories, and general office needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
