Job summary

Apple is seeking a hands-on Data Product & BI Lead to design and build the next generation of analytical data products for Wallet, Payments & Commerce. You will own end-to-end delivery of scalable analytics platforms across instrumentation specs, datasets, and interactive visualizations with a focus on privacy and trust.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data products, 3+ years as a senior IC, and deep expertise in SQL, Python, and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying next-generation data and AI-powered analytical products.
• 3+ years as a senior IC leading the development of data products, AI-enabled analytics, and visualizations across multiple lines of business.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Scala, Python with hands-on experience in data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow), CI/CD practices, and version control.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional data modeling, semantic/metrics layers, and metric standardization.
• Experience applying Generative AI/LLMs and agentic AI patterns to analytics use cases such as insight generation, natural-language data exploration, and workflow automation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across engineering and business teams
• Excellent Executive communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Define analytics foundation for Wallet, Payments & Commerce, from metrics architecture to AI-driven decision intelligence.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of scalable, privacy-first analytics platforms powering trusted insights.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business teams to derive actionable insights.
• Bring data to life via interactive self-serve decision tooling while ensuring trust, accuracy, and compliance.
