Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Data Products & BI Lead for Wallet, Payments & Commerce in Austin, TX. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying data and AI analytics products.
• 3+ years as a senior IC leading data products, AI analytics, and visualizations across multiple lines of business.
• Strong SQL, Scala, Python with hands-on experience in data pipelines and CI/CD.
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and metric standardization.
• Experience applying Generative AI/LLMs to analytics use cases.
• Ability to influence across engineering and business teams.
• Excellent executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define data instrumentation specs, user journeys, and interaction flows for robust analytics.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable last‑mile data sets and data products.
• Build a solid metrics layer to drive trusted insights and AI inferences.
• Establish data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop data visualizations leveraging AI and modern tools.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and business to gather requirements.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate requirements into wireframes and specs.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise team capability.
