Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Sr Manager Data Products & Strategy to guide the execution and ongoing management of data products across domains in a highly regulated financial services environment. You will translate priorities into roadmaps, coordinate delivery across teams, and ensure governance and compliance.

You will manage a team of Data Product Managers, align plans with business stakeholders, and drive measurable outcomes while advocating continuous improvement and accountability

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in product management, data, analytics, technology, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 5+ years of management or people leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms and modern data architectures.
• Experience with data governance practices, including metadata, lineage, quality, privacy, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into data product strategy, standards, and objectives for assigned data domains and translate into actionable roadmaps and deliverables.
• Manage assigned data product portfolios including advisor, customer, accounts, risk, operations, or other data domains.
• Lead and manage a team of Data Product Managers and/or other professional-level employees.
• Coordinate across data product, data engineering, analytics, technology, and business teams to achieve objectives.
• Ensure data product compliance with privacy, quality, lineage, auditability, and retention requirements.
