Job summary

Plaid seeks a seasoned Partnerships professional to build and manage external data partnerships powering Plaid’s Credit products. You will identify partners across data providers, fintechs, and financial infrastructure, translating product needs into collaboration opportunities.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to craft opportunities, lead market mapping, diligence, and negotiations, and drive growth across the partner portfolio in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in partnerships, business development, or related fields.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, credit, or data businesses.
• Track record of sourcing, structuring, and negotiating complex strategic partnerships.
• Strong product orientation and ability to work with technical teams on data and integration topics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize external data partnerships to improve Plaid's Credit products, insights, and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate needs into partnership opportunities and bring data capabilities to market.
• Lead full partnership lifecycle—from market mapping and sourcing through diligence, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Grow partnerships from initial integration through scaled usage and expanded impact.
