Job summary

CarGurus is building Enterprise Data Solutions (EDS), delivering governed data products to OEMs, lenders, and services. You will own data asset lifecycles, shape schemas, and ensure delivery via Snowflake, SFTP, or API, partnering with Strategy, Engineering, Product, Data Science, Legal, and GTM.

You will translate customer signals into scalable data products, drive MVP scope, and define documentation, governance, and feedback loops to improve assets across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Product Management, Analytics Engineering, or hybrid data role.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end definition of EDS data products (Search Trends, Price Trends, Inventory Trends).
• Translate inbound signals into clearly scoped data products with schema, granularity, and governance.
• Produce exportable, governed datasets with external SLAs and data-quality standards.
• Lead product-level design sessions for MVP scope and delivery approach (Snowflake share, SFTP, API).
• Document data dictionaries, sample assets, and schema documentation for each asset.
• Prototype new data assets via automated transformations (DBT) and partner with Data Engineering to optimize data architectures.
• Define SLAs, monitoring, and operational support for externally consumed data assets.
• Establish standards/templates for saleable EDS products and handoff to GTM.
