Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Manager of Software Development to lead multiple teams across the software development life cycle. You must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

You will drive project governance, establish plans and timelines, coordinate IT resources, and report progress to executives. The role requires strong leadership, OO design and database skills, plus experience with change control and structured development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent.
• Eight to twelve years of software development experience with leadership roles.
• Experience guiding project governance, plans and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple software development teams and manages end-to-end SDLC.
• Assembles project plans, monitors progress, reviews quality, and escalates issues.
• Ensures governance standards, change control, and project metrics are defined and reported.
• Oversees budgeting, staffing and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Delivers projects on time and communicates status to stakeholders and executives.
