Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for someone to join the Flight Test Data Processing Team in Fort Worth.
This position is for a flight test data processing engineer. The candidate will be responsible for data operations for assigned programs. The candidate will interface with personnel in the development of data for aircraft flight test operations. Will work with LM instrumentation engineers to identify data processing needs and identify cost-saving solutions. The candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work independently. Occasional extended hours and weekends are required.
Tasks Include

• Receive, process and troubleshoot IRIG 106 formatted data products per established processes.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation Engineering, Operations Engineering, IT
  administration, and leadership on issues, status and capabilities.

• Diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered in the recovery of test data.
• Support IT assignments as required.
  

At this level the successful candidate will be provided on-the-job training to become familiar with the data processing field and be familiar with server system administration and desktop support. The candidate will continue actively working to expand his or her knowledge of the discipline and of specific tasking for career growth. Relevant technical experience is a plus and skills/experience in these areas will be shown special considerations (RF/Telemetry, IT System Build, Electronics, Database Management), but not required. However, this is a technical position, so a strong desire to grow technical skills is expected.

Pay Information
