Opti Staffing is seeking a Data Processing Assistant for a fabrication shop in Beaverton, OR. The role involves entering fabrication drawing data into a tracking system, organizing files and documentation, and supporting inventory and purchasing activities.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with flexible start times. Pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, with a contract-to-hire path and a casual work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable in a busy, open office environment with multiple conversations.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF software is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter fabrication drawing information into a custom tracking software with speed and accuracy.
• Organize and maintain fabrication files, quality control reports, certifications, and project documentation.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
• Process material receipts and update inventory information within the tracking system.
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing support, and material stocking.
• Support the fabrication team with administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Maintain organized records while working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
