Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities and privacy-by-design across structured and unstructured data. You will design scalable privacy solutions and partner with cybersecurity, legal, and product teams to safeguard sensitive information while enabling business innovation.

The role requires 7+ years in privacy/security fields, 5+ years in data protection, and hands-on cloud/DevSecOps experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in privacy/security/data protection fields.
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data protection capabilities.
• 5+ years coding in Python, Java, or Go.
• 5+ years cloud/DevSecOps with CI/CD and IaC.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across data environments.
• Design and deploy Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to protect data while enabling innovation.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, and compliance to embed privacy-by-design and compliant architectures.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and control evaluations to mitigate risks.
• Drive governance, metrics, and automation to strengthen privacy posture and efficiency.
