Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Data Privacy Specialist to join our Legal team in Charlotte, NC within a faith-driven organization. You will develop privacy and AI governance policies, design practical guidance, and deliver training across departments.

The role focuses on implementing privacy programs, building tools and templates, and measuring performance to support stewardship and mission delivery. Bachelor’s degree and privacy certifications preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 2+ years in data privacy, legal, governance, risk, or compliance.
• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPM are preferred.
• Twelve credit hours of Biblical studies strongly preferred.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on confidential matters.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication; translate privacy requirements into practical guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive policy adoption.
• Identify process gaps and develop practical workflows and tools for governance.
• Analyze information and develop reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Develop project plans, coordinate stakeholders, and track milestones.

• Oversee implementation of evolving privacy requirements with timely execution.

• Engage stakeholders across departments to drive adoption of new policies.
• Prepare reports and dashboards communicating risks and progress.
• Assist in coordinating projects and dependencies to ensure delivery.
• Create engaging employee communications and instructional materials.
