Data Preparation Specialist – El Paso, TX
The Providencia Group is looking for a dedicated Data Preparation Specialist to support organizational operations by maintaining accurate, complete, and reliable data. This role focuses on data entry, validation, organization, and quality control while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Job Summary
The Data Preparation Specialist will enter, update, and manage data across designated systems, ensure accuracy and completeness, organize electronic and physical records, identify discrepancies, perform routine quality checks, collaborate with internal teams, maintain confidentiality, and comply with data‑security requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data accurately across designated systems.
- Review and validate information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with standards.
- Identify discrepancies or data issues and raise escalation as appropriate.
- Perform routine quality checks and audits to support data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure accurate information flow.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data‑security requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications
- Associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited university (a high school diploma and two (2) or more years of relevant experience may substitute for an associate degree).
- At least two (2) years of experience working with computers (a minimum of four years of experience is required when a high school diploma with two or more years of relevant experience substitutes for an associate degree).
- Demonstrated experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this program, sufficient for communication with other staff within a similar program environment.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), databases, spreadsheets, and document management systems; high typing speed and accuracy to meet productivity targets.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
- Willingness to learn internal company systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different departments, employees, and clients.
- Ability to take technical directions and feedback from various sources.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and representing TPG professionally.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks, and work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Clearance
The applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment.
Security Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance.
- Favorable credit check for all cleared positions.
- Successfully pass a background investigation, drug screen, and may be required to pass or present specific requirements depending on the program (e.g., DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, flu shot).

- Standing/Walking/Mobility: must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
