The Providencia Group is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to deliver strategic HR leadership on site in Weslaco, TX. You will partner with managers and staff across dispersed locations to manage employee relations, performance, and HR compliance while aligning with company values.
You will collaborate with Corporate HR and Homeland Security programs, identify training needs, and drive organizational development.

The TPGHR Business Partner willdemonstratea thorough knowledge of HR and management practices, and have a mastery of employee relations, problem resolution, and consultative skills. He/she will liaise with program staff, management, and corporate staff while juggling competing priorities and modeling and enabling positive company values and culture and ensuring that HR practices are applied fairly and consistently.
Serve as HR advisor, coach, and partner to geographically dispersed staff
Provides generalist support to a staff of several hundred staff, covering a full range of HR issues,includingemployee relations, performancemanagementand HR compliance.
Counsel and educate managers on delivering effective feedback that results in increased performance, team engagement, and strategic growth
Participates in meetings with Corporate HR and Homeland Security programs while championing communication and organizational development best practices to help department leads manage and/or transform their teams
Identifiestraining needs for programs and analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions
Develop strong working relationships and partner with other members of the Corporate HR team and othercorporateinfrastructure department to provide seamless HR support andguidanceleadership and staff.
Providetimelysupport for critical issues and HR emergencies, such as support with managing disciplinary issues
Maintain a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, and advises and educates managers accordingly
Lead and/or contribute to organization-wide HR projects and initiatives

Bachelor’s Degreerequired
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in an exempt HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist role with full understanding of all HR functions and best practices in HR
High level knowledge of Federal regulations, labor legislation, and compliancerequired
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment, manage multiple competing demands, and provide strong consultative services
Expert at communicating effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders while inspiring confidence
Strong project management skills with an ability toidentifyand analyze organizational needs
PHR, SHRM-CP, or advanced degree in HR-related field preferred
SCA experience

Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ingenuity with the ability to effectively achieve organizational established goals andobjectives
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-service oriented and collaborative team environment
Strong communicationwritten and verbal skills
Strong ability to collaborate with other staff to come to meaningful solutions
Complete a rigorous culture and competency testing process
Complete a Drug Test
Must be at least 21 years of age
A valid US Driver’s license
Have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
U.S Residency Requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.
Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements, which will include but not limited to a 5 Panel Drug Test.
Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
Standing/Walking/Mobility : Must have the mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees. Ability to stand for extended period of time when delivering presentations.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling :10% of the time.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing : 10% of the time.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling : Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
Sitting : Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
