Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Diego is seeking a Senior Manager, Data PMO to lead a team of program managers and directly guide high-impact data initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will build scalable PMO practices, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across programs while fostering a healthy, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program/project management or related technology leadership experience.
• Proven success leading Program Managers while also personally leading complex, high-visibility programs.
• Experience operating across multiple programs, teams and senior stakeholders in a complex, global organization.
• Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, empower and manage experienced PMs.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify systemic issues, establish structure and drive alignment across competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders through clear problem framing, data, trade-offs and recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Data technologies and platforms, Analytics, Data Integration, Machine Learning and AI.
• Excellent executive communication, judgment, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Program Managers, setting expectations and coaching for growth.
• Directly lead select strategic, high-impact Data programs with clear outcomes and governance.
• Provide leadership across the Data portfolio and align priorities, dependencies and risks.
• Partner with senior Data and cross-functional leaders to frame problems and recommendations.
• Improve PMO practices to increase predictability, transparency and efficiency.
• Anticipate and resolve complex delivery challenges with clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Communicate complex technical information with concise, decision-oriented narratives for senior leaders.
• Build a healthy, inclusive and high-performing team culture centered on ownership and collaboration.
