Job summary
TSMC Washington is seeking a seasoned Principal Technical Lead – Data Infrastructure to define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for our enterprise data platform. You will architect scalable data infrastructure powering analytics, AI, and manufacturing intelligence across North America and Taiwan.

Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years leading architecture for large-scale data platforms.
- 3+ years as Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Architect, or Technical Lead.
- Strong technical communication with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term architecture and technical strategy for enterprise data infrastructure.
- Lead architecture reviews and drive decisions across organizations.
- Design scalable data platforms including data lakehouse, streaming, and batch pipelines.
- Build distributed data systems with petabyte-scale storage and multi-region deployments.
- Enable AI and analytics with data pipelines, governance, and lineage.
