Bain & Company, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Data Product to own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data products across Bain's platforms.

You will translate business needs into data domains, schemas, and access models, working with stakeholders to maximize customer value and ensure governance across Databricks environments. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage backlogs, and guide data product strategy, governance, and end-user training, while staying aligned with business goals and

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data delivery, data warehousing, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data platforms, data integration, and translating business requirements into technical data engineering requirements.
• Direct experience with modern data platform technologies, with Databricks preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts, including data domains, access controls, data ownership, approval workflows, and Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and proactive monitoring.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex requirements for engineering teams and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Translate the high-level roadmap into a clear, actionable sequence of work.
• Maintain continuous communication with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate data needs into data domains, schemas, and access models within Databricks.
• Develop understanding of customer segments and value, identifying future opportunities.
• Coordinate approvals for sensitive datasets with data owners.
• Measure customer value and business outcomes through pilots, surveys, KPIs, and feedback.
• Develop end-user communication, marketing, and training strategies.
• Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Engineering Managers to identify cross-product synergies.
• Help establish scalable standards and governance for data platform delivery, including schema design conventions and access frameworks within Databricks.
• Inspire product teams by communicating the product vision and business purpose.
• Prioritize the product backlog and deliver feature releases and platform upgrades.
• Monitor high-usage data assets and establish proactive monitoring for data availability.
• Oversee intake and prioritization of data domains and maintenance requests.
