Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Manager, Data Platform Engineer – Microsoft Fabric to join the Enterprise Data Management team in New York City. You will design and deliver trusted data products and production pipelines on Microsoft Fabric, collaborating with cross-functional partners to enable reliable BI and analytics use cases.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Fabric, data engineering, and a passion for observability, testing, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience with modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric implementation.
• Strong understanding of data quality, lineage, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Fabric data products across layers (ingestion to curated).
• Engineer scalable Fabric data products using PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake.
• Embed data quality controls, monitoring, and lineage into data products.
• Collaborate with architects and governance partners to ensure reliable platform delivery.
