Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Manager, Data Platform Engineer – Microsoft Fabric to lead the EDM team in New York City. You will design and productionize data products and pipelines across ingestion, processing, and curated layers, working closely with governance, BI, and source-system teams.

You will implement scalable Fabric data solutions, ensure data quality, lineage, and monitoring, and guide deployment through CI/CD and Airflow-like orchestration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric implementation across OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Fabric Data Factory/Data Pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Fabric data products and pipelines across ingestion, transformation, lakehouse, warehouse, and curated layers
• Engineer scalable Fabric data products using OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and related tools
• Build restartable, idempotent ingestion and transformation pipelines with robust error handling
• Embed data quality, lineage, monitoring, and testing into each data product
• Diagnose failures across source data, integration, Fabric processing, and downstream consumption
• Apply DataOps and software-engineering practices across code review, CI/CD, and release management
• Maintain source-to-target mappings, lineage, and security requirements throughout the data-product lifecycle
• Deliver trusted curated data products for BI & Analytics and other approved consumers
