Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to build and lead the new Data team focused on Qualified's data layer end-to-end.

You will own data models, ETL pipelines, Data 360, and analytics, shaping platform strategy and partnering with product leadership. Ideal candidates have proven success leading data platform engineering in high-growth environments, strong hiring instincts, and deep SQL/OLAP expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams building data platforms, pipelines, or large-scale backends in high-growth settings.
• Strong hiring instincts: recruit, close, and ramp engineers effectively.
• Deep technical depth in PostgreSQL, OLAP systems, CDC/event streaming, and data modeling for CRM domains.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and drive outcomes with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders outside data teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow the Data team, shaping culture, rituals, and standards.
• Own the Data Charter & Roadmap: data models, ETL pipelines, Data 360, and integrations.
• Drive end-to-end data architecture, ingestion, sync, and serving across the platform.
• Champion data quality, reliability, and verifiable SLIs/SLAs.
• Collaborate with leadership, product teams, and Salesforce partners to align priorities.
