Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Data Engineering Manager for the Data Consumer Experience within the Data Platforms Engineering team. You will lead a team that integrates vendor tools, validates analytics software, and ensures a healthy, scalable consumer ecosystem.

You will collaborate with business leaders to shape tool usage for insights, build cloud infrastructure on AWS, and deliver complex data projects while mentoring engineers and aligning roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
• 10+ years in software/data engineering, analytics, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading data/engineering teams and mentoring others.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Consumer Experience initiatives within Data Platforms Engineering.
• Manage vendor tools integration and ensure open-source analytics work across platforms.
• Guide data strategy, governance, and scalable data products used by thousands daily.
