Job summary

Electro-Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform in Bristol VA. You will establish the data foundation using Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and leading visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau.

The role focuses on data architecture, integration, governance, and advancing analytics across the enterprise while mentoring teammates and driving innovation in cloud analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 3–5 years in data engineering or BI.
• Strong SQL and data pipeline development experience in production.
• Experience with Fabric, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric and related Azure services.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across ERP, CRM, and other data sources.
• Develop enterprise dashboards and semantic models using Power BI and Tableau.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, lineage, and security controls.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to the data strategy and roadmap.
