Job summary

Fracht Group - North America is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve the enterprise data platform supporting analytics and decision-making across its global operations. The role covers the full Microsoft Fabric medallion stack, from ingestion and Spark/PySpark transformations to dimensional modeling and the Power BI semantic layer, including RLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI.
• Experience building production data pipelines on cloud platforms (Microsoft Fabric/Azure).
• Proven ability to design dimensional models and Power BI semantic models with RLS.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and owns end-to-end data pipelines across the Microsoft Fabric medallion architecture.
• Develops ingestion from multiple source systems and implements ELT/ETL patterns.
• Defines data requirements and translates them into sound warehouse structures.
• Creates and optimizes Power BI semantic models and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Owns production incident response and governance/documentation.
