Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Ring & Blink Customer Service Engineering and Insights team. You will own the data platform foundations, operate ETL pipelines, and manage AWS data infrastructure to enable analytics and AI initiatives across the organization.

You will work with BI Engineers, Salesforce System Developers, and platform partners to translate architecture into production-ready systems, ensuring security, reliability, and compliance while driving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics with ETL/ELT.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Info Systems/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate ETL pipelines and data infrastructure for analytics and AI initiatives.
• Manage data access and permissions across AWS accounts (IAM roles, trust relationships).
• Own Airflow orchestration layer: monitoring, failure triage, alerts, SLA adherence.
• Develop and support Python-based ETL jobs on EC2 or similar compute.
• Identify and reduce technical debt across ETL pipelines and orchestrations.
• Address data governance: retention, access-control, compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with BI Engineers to ensure consistent outputs for consumption.
