Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer II for Ring/Blink Customer Service Engineering and Insights. You will own ETL pipelines and data infrastructure, ensuring data readiness for analytics and AI, while coordinating with BI Engineers and platform teams to keep data reliable and secure.

You will operate Airflow, develop Python-based ETL jobs, and drive improvements across the data platform, addressing security, governance, and compliance requirements as the team scales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using ETL/ELT processes.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate ETL pipelines and data infrastructure for analytics, AI initiatives, and downstream use cases.
• Manage data access and permissions across AWS accounts, IAM roles, trust relationships, and cross-account data access issues.
• Oversee Airflow orchestration for execution monitoring, failure triage, and pipeline reliability.
