Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable data ingestion platform that onboards data from new AWS services at launch with full lineage and audit trails.

You will implement ETL/ELT pipelines, work with Redshift/S3/Glue, and ensure governance and security across petabyte-scale data ecosystems to empower analytics across AWS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using ETL/ELT.
• 3+ years of SQL experience and data governance controls.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the next-generation ingestion service for automatic onboarding of data from new AWS services at launch.
• Develop scalable ingestion frameworks handling petabytes of data with full lineage and audit trails.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain governance, encryption, and access controls.
