Job summary

Rentschler Biopharma SE is seeking an IT Data Engineer to design, build, and operate data platforms and pipelines across Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratory, and Business systems. The role supports the transition from Azure Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric and acts as a Data & Analytics partner with stakeholders in Milford and global teams.

You will work in an agile environment, engage with internal stakeholders and external consultants, and contribute to scalable, data-driven solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Informatics, Bioinformatics, or a comparable field is highly preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or a comparable IT role.
Solid programming skills, preferably SQL or Python.
Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics; Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data products.
Integrate source systems into the enterprise analytics platform.
Develop, support, and enhance data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and related services.
Implement and monitor data quality checks across pipelines and data products.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues; apply global Data & Analytics standards.
Document solutions and share knowledge with users and team members.
