Job summary

Rentschler Biopharma, Inc. is seeking an IT Data Engineer in Milford, MA to design, build, and operate data pipelines and products that enable data-driven decisions.

You will integrate Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratory, and ERP systems into a unified analytics platform, with a focus on migrating from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with global Data & Analytics teams, apply best engineering practices, and contribute to data governance and quality initiatives while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, informatics, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 3+ years of data engineering or related IT experience.
• Strong SQL or Python skills.
• Experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data products supporting business and operational processes.
• Integrate source systems such as Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratory, MES, LIMS, ERP into the analytics platform.
• Develop, support, and enhance data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and related Azure services.
• Implement and monitor data quality checks and resolve data quality issues with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and data integration issues; support platform stability.
• Document solutions and share knowledge with users and team members.
