Job summary

AbbVie is building an AI-native data platform within PDST to accelerate CMC and manufacturing data workflows. You’ll design scalable data pipelines, harmonize data across MES, LIMS, ERP, and QA systems, and enable AI/ML readiness across drug development and production.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and regulatory teams to ensure data quality, traceability, and compliant analytics in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in CS/Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience designing enterprise data pipelines in complex environments.
• Strong programming in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with regulated life sciences data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines across source systems.
• Develop harmonized data models and semantic mappings for enterprise use.
• Establish data quality controls, lineage, and governance in production.
• Deliver governed data products for AI/ML workflows and metrics.
