Job summary

Lafayette Federal Credit Union seeks a data Platform Engineer to maintain and evolve a modern data platform built on Microsoft Fabric and Azure. You will partner with finance, analytics, and IT to deliver reliable data pipelines, dashboards, and scalable analytics across the organization.

Hybrid role requiring proximity to our DC metro area headquarters; 5–8 years in data engineering or related fields; Bachelor's degree and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve a data platform built on Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Ingest data from core banking systems, APIs, and flat files into OneLake.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Monitor pipeline reliability, performance, and data quality.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
