Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Principal Cloud Data Solutions Architect in a leadership, hands-on role. You will craft scalable, secure data platforms on cloud infrastructure, guiding architecture decisions and production delivery across teams.

You will own end-to-end data pipelines, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with business, security, and platform teams to modernize the data ecosystem and ensure regulatory compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of data/tech experience with 5+ years architecting enterprise data solutions.
• 7+ years designing modern data platforms and distributed systems.
• 5+ years hands-on software and data engineering using SQL and at least one modern language.

Responsibilities

• Define, evolve, and govern cloud data solutions architecture principles and patterns.
• Design end-to-end cloud data solution architectures across ingestion, storage, analytics, and AI/ML.
• Own the technical direction and delivery quality of complex data initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and translate domain needs into data products and APIs.
