Job summary
The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Director for Data Architecture & Engineering to lead the NAOU data strategy, architecture, and AI-enabled platforms. The role demands strategic vision, hands-on depth, and a track record of delivering scalable data products and platforms that enable self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
You will guide modernization across Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, AI/ML, and self-service analytics, while inspiring high-performing
Qualifications
- Engineering leadership experience managing large data teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement across business, tech and product
- 8+ years software engineering in enterprise environments
- 8+ years data processing with Spark and related architectures
- DevOps proficiency: Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD practices
- Experience delivering Agile projects and collaborating globally
- Expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, OneLake, Synapse, Databricks and Power BI
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical leadership across NAOU data platforms
- Develop and mentor high-performing data engineering teams
- Advance engineering excellence with modular design and continuous testing
- Architect reusable data frameworks and libraries across pipelines
- Tune Spark workloads and optimize large-scale batch/streaming processing
- Partner with cloud and Fabric teams to balance performance and cost
