Job summary

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC in Pittsburgh seeks a Data Platform & Integration Engineer to build and own the firm’s modern data warehouse and integration platform. You will design Snowflake architecture, implement ELT/ETL pipelines, and govern data quality while enabling enterprise applications and analytics.

The role reports to the Manager, Enterprise Applications and requires strong SQL, Python/Java, and hands-on experience with Snowflake and MuleSoft in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or related field.
• 8+ years building enterprise data and integration environments from the ground up.
• Strong SQL and programming/scripting skills (Python, Java, or DataWeave).
• Experience with Snowflake and enterprise integration platforms like MuleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Own and design the firm's data platform and data lineage strategy.
• Build and manage Snowflake data warehouse and Snowflake security models.
• Develop ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowpipe, dbt, and related tools.
• Lead MuleSoft API design and integration workflows across key apps.
• Establish governance, data quality, and cataloging across platforms.
• Document architecture, mappings, and lineage for audits and Ops.
