Job summary

SaasWorx is seeking a Data Architect – Snowflake to lead the design and delivery of cloud data platforms for enterprise customers in the United States. You will serve as a Snowflake domain expert, guide architecture decisions, and own end-to-end data modernization engagements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in Snowflake architecture, strong SQL/SnowSQL skills, and hands-on experience with dbt, Fivetran, MuleSoft, Python, and PySpark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering with 3+ years in Data Architecture/Snowflake implementations
• Strong hands-on Snowflake administration and performance optimization
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data modernization & cloud transformations
• Experience managing customer-facing engagements and offshore delivery teams
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills for technical and business audiences
• Expertise with Snowflake features: Snowpipe, Materialized Views, Clustering, Zero Copy Cloning, Time Travel, Resource Monitors, RBAC
• Hands-on Python, PySpark, Bash, and automation for ingestion, orchestration, monitoring
• Experience with dbt, Fivetran, MuleSoft, and similar ELT/integration platforms
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure; Snowflake integrations with Salesforce/SaaS
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership in a consulting-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as Snowflake domain expert guiding modern data architecture, governance, and performance
• Lead discovery workshops to capture business objectives and data landscapes
• Design scalable Snowflake-based data platforms for analytics, AI, and operations
• Develop enterprise data models, dictionaries, metadata frameworks, and ERDs
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, marts, and ingestion frameworks
• Implement scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowpipe, dbt, Fivetran, MuleSoft, Python, PySpark
• Enforce enterprise security, governance, scalability, reliability, and cost controls
• Lead end-to-end Snowflake/data modernization engagements for NA customers
• Coordinate activities across analysts, engineers, QA, and offshore teams
• Mentor junior engineers and architects to drive delivery excellence
• Stay current with Snowflake/cloud data trends and automation improvements
• Support pre-sales with architecture recommendations and SOWs
