Job summary

Lincoln Electric, a global leader in welding and engineered solutions, seeks a Manager of Analytics and Data Platform to guide a team of Data Engineers supporting SAP BW and Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on data modernization, governance, and cost management across BI and analytics use cases in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and deep technical knowledge of enterprise data platforms, cloud analytics, and Medallion Architecture

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics environments.
5-7 years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

Establish performance expectations, career development plans, and technical growth opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
Manage staffing, workload prioritization, and resource allocation across multiple projects and operational responsibilities.
Own operational health and performance of enterprise data platforms, including SAP BW and Microsoft Fabric.
Lead the ongoing transition from legacy data architectures to modern cloud-based data engineering solutions.
Ensure reliable and scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
