Job summary

Infinite Roar in Chicago is seeking a Manager of Data Engineering to build the scalable analytics backbone for AI-powered capabilities. You will transform prototypes into production-grade data products and collaborate with Analytics, Audience Strategy, and Platform Intelligence teams.

You should bring 5+ years in data/platform/software engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with Databricks or similar platforms. Expect a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or comparable data platforms.
• Experience building APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytical solutions, and data products using Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Develop and optimize workflows that support analytics, automation, reporting, and AI-driven applications.
• Establish and maintain best practices for data quality, governance, security, and performance.
• Transform analytical prototypes into production-ready services, applications, and reusable components.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
