Job summary

Lifetime Healthcare Companies is seeking a Manager of Data Platform Administration to lead the Data Platform Administration team in planning, design, development, and maintenance of data systems. You will interact with users to capture needs, champion standards, and ensure processes meet quality expectations and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with data center teams to optimize resources while upholding privacy and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or relevant field (or six years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Advanced expertise in database design, development, testing and maintenance for production ready systems.
• Advanced expertise in structured systems analysis and design, user relations, data gathering techniques, and MIS.
• Experience supervising or managing people and/or projects.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and controls the activities of the systems lifecycle.
• Reviews service requests / projects and consults with sponsors and users to clarify intent and solutions.
• Estimates staffing, costs and time for project activities and allocates resources.
• Reviews and approves major deliverables of the development methodology and ensures walk-throughs.
• Communicates with data center management for resolution of issues and resource utilization.
• Mentors Data Platform Administration professionals and advises on policies.
• Maintains operating costs and ensures compliance with corporate guidelines.
