Job summary

Verkada Inc. is seeking a data steward to own the foundational data engine and automated pipelines powering our end-to-end planning ecosystem. You will build, monitor, and maintain connected data flows used by planners, stakeholders, and suppliers.

The role requires on-site presence at our San Mateo, CA office for five days a week, with responsibilities spanning data governance, system health, and actionable analytics to support daily execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Data Operations, Supply Chain Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or BI.
• Experience with ERPs (NetSuite), supply chain planning platforms, and WMS.
• Advanced SQL (BigQuery, Snowflake), cloud data warehouses, and automation in Google Apps Script, Python, or similar.
• Data refresh SLAs, monitoring pipeline execution, and building operational workflows.
• Translate supply chain needs into precise technical requirements and drive cross-functional fixes.
• Willingness to commute 5 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern core data layer and automated pipelines powering planning processes.
• Trace data sync errors, diagnose root causes, and drive fixes with partners.
• Run operational cadence for data loads, enforce quality checks and change control.
• Build dashboards with supply chain leadership to define metrics and insights.
