Cooley LLP is seeking a BIC Data Operations Specialist to support data execution, reporting operations, and automation outside core workflow platforms. You will operationalize analytics and automation to maintain speed and accuracy while enabling senior staff to focus on architecture and future-state initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, iManage and firm applications.
• Ability to work extended or weekend hours, as required.
• Willingness to travel, as required.
• 3+ years in data operations, reporting, analytics, or related support role.
• Strong analytical skills with structured data.
• Knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting or automation for dashboards and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain reports, dashboards, queries, and extracts.
• Execute recurring data pulls for leadership, audits, and firm initiatives.
• Validate output accuracy and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain scripts, jobs, and API-based processes.
• Monitor performance, log results, and escalate issues.
• Support data requests related to AI tools, governance, and cloud readiness.
• Maintain runbooks, trackers, and execution records.
