Job summary

Cypress HCM seeks a Data Operations Analyst to own the Hotels lead and account data quality, ensuring accuracy, deduplication, enrichment, and proper category criteria before prospects reach the field.

You will audit the Hotels CRM data, define qualification standards, and build SLAs for reliable routing to reps, including AI-enabled QA where it improves accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 5-6+ years in data operations or GTM engineering, ideally in a B2B or marketplace environment.
  • Hands-on Salesforce (or comparable CRM) experience, including account structuring, deduplication, field mapping, and data cleanup.
  • Strong instinct for data quality; you can navigate complex, imperfect data structures, find and fix inconsistencies, and connect business use cases back to the data pipelines.
  • Experience designing or refining lead qualification criteria and SLAs.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing or evaluating third-party data vendors and enrichment tools.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong SQL skills: ability to write queries to validate data, investigate anomalies, or pull ad hoc analysis.
  • Python skills a strong plus.
  • Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for building lightweight internal processes and engines.
  • Clear, proactive communicator comfortable partnering directly with sales reps and field leadership on escalations.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to build and document scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Data Sourcing & Deduplication: Make sure leads and accounts entering the pipeline, no matter which system they come from, are accurate and deduplicated before a rep ever sees them.
  • Lead Qualification & Routing: Set and continuously refine the standards that decide whether a lead is good enough to work, and make sure it gets to the right rep, whether it was assigned by the business or sourced by the rep themselves.
  • CRM & Account Data Integrity: Own the health of the Hotels data in CRM by cleaning up duplicate or broken records and making sure account structures hold up as they interact with other parts of the business.
  • Escalations & Field Partnership: Be the go-to person when something breaks for a rep, whether that's a missing lead, a bad match, or a data issue, and fix the underlying process rather than just the one ticket.
  • Applying AI Where It Fits: Identify where AI genuinely speeds up data QA, enrichment, or anomaly detection versus where it doesn't, and hold whatever you deploy to a real bar (e.g. false-positive rate) rather than assuming it works because it sounds smart.

Job description

Description
  • As Data Operations Analyst, you will own lead and account data quality for Hotels, making sure every prospect flowing from all source systems into rep pipelines is accurate, deduplicated, enriched, and meets category criteria before it ever reaches the field. You'll lead the audit and cleanup of the Hotels CRM data, handle escalations when prospects are missing or misrouted, and build the qualification processes and SLAs that let reps trust every prospect they're assigned.
  • This role blends technical depth with business judgment. You need to understand how data models and lineage impact business processes, know why data quality matters to the field, and the judgment to get to the right answer when needed.
Duties
Requirements
  • 5-6+ years of experience in data operations or GTM engineering, ideally in a B2B or marketplace environment.

  • Strong SQL skills: ability to write queries to validate data, investigate anomalies, or pull ad hoc analysis.
  • Python skills a strong plus.
  • Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for building lightweight internal processes and engines.
  • Clear, proactive communicator comfortable partnering directly with sales reps and field leadership on escalations.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to build and document scalable workflows.
How You’ll Know You’re Succeeding
  • Execution time of quarterly lead generation, deduplication, enrichment, and routing decreases
  • GTM and Ops teams are assigned leads they actually trust and action; number of lead quality issues being flagged quarterly decreases
  • You’re proactively flagging data gaps and proposing solutions before they become escalations
Compensation
  • $66.56 – 72.41/hr W—2
