Job summary

Eliassen Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Tier III Network Operations Engineer to troubleshoot and improve the reliability of WAN, LAN, routing, switching, and wireless services. This role emphasizes break-fix support and enterprise network stability within Agile teams.

The position requires strong TCP/IP and networking knowledge, experience with ACI/SD-WAN, and hands-on monitoring tools. W2 basis includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with matching, and life insurance, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related network operations experience.
• Proficiency with networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies including VLANs, Ethernet, MPLS, ACI, ISE, and SD-WAN.
• Experience with ACI fabric configuration and troubleshooting including spines, leaves, APICs, and tenant configurations.
• Familiarity with wireless standards, security protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as ThousandEyes, LiveAction, SolarWinds, and Wireshark.
• Experience performing Cisco IOS updates and general network maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and timely incident resolution.
• Commitment to continuous learning of networking trends and best practices.
• Desired: CCNA, CCNP, Network+ certifications.
• Desired: Prior Tier 2 network operations support experience.
• Desired: One year with Microsoft Windows and MS Office.

Our client seeks a Tier III Network Operations Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex WAN, LAN, routing, switching, and wireless issues. The role focuses on break-fix support and operational reliability of enterprise network solutions. It requires strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, basic datacenter and network security concepts, and familiarity with automation and monitoring. The engineer will operate with minimal supervision and collaborate within small teams using Agile principles.

Rate: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00/yr. w2
