Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Anaheim to design, implement, and support enterprise networking, security, and telecommunications infrastructure. This contract-to-hire role requires a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) starting in Anaheim, CA, with W2 benefits if converted to FTE.

The position involves leading modernization initiatives, troubleshooting complex issues, and guiding the IT Operations team.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Router platforms.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
• Experience with SD-WAN architecture and implementation.
• Familiarity with VPN technologies including IPsec and DMVPN.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ISE, TACACS/RSA, IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or related credentials preferred.

Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5, Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote in Anaheim, CA

Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network, security, and telecommunications infrastructure. This role will lead network modernization initiatives, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, support critical projects, and provide technical guidance to the IT Operations team.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.
