Aflac Columbus is seeking a Data Mod & Applied AI Lead to modernize our data foundation and build new data products and agentic processes. This role focuses on cloud-native architecture, AI-enabled delivery, and governance across insurance domains.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years leading tech programs, experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hands-on use of AI coding tools. Work arrangement can be hybrid or remote within the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration or related field.
• 6+ years leading or managing technology programs.
• Demonstrated experience with data platforms, data engineering, or analytics/BI programs.
• Experience with AI coding/productivity tools.
• Experience with git-based development workflows.
• Track record delivering complex programs with small, high-autonomy teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead AI-enabled requirements management using AI tools and agents to develop comprehensive specifications.
• Own and evolve the program knowledge ecosystem with architecture docs, decision records, roadmaps, standards.
• Drive data-informed program execution using repository-based metrics and delivery signals.
• Manage and prioritize the delivery portfolio, decompose initiatives into actionable workstreams with AI-assisted analysis.
• Ensure solution quality by validating against acceptance criteria and identifying improvements.
• Enhance delivery standards and governance, establishing reusable patterns and controls.
