Qualifications

• 3+ years leading data engineering teams
• 5+ years hands-on data engineering in cloud environments
• Deep hands-on GCP experience — BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, dbt, Python and SQL
• Expert knowledge of data modeling and architecture frameworks
• Strong communication with US-based partners across time zones

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing team of data engineers
• Own planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery tracking
• Coordinate intake and stakeholder communication for data requests and roadmap planning
• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines
• Drive AI adoption across engineering workflows
• Define and own SLAs for critical datasets and data quality
• Participate in production support and CI/CD improvements
• Partner with data governance to ensure trustworthy data
