Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS seeks a Data & Media Management Specialist II to support the NISSC 3 program. You will manage the acquisition, validation, storage, protection, and distribution of documentation and media, ensuring artifacts are controlled and traceable in alignment with CM and cybersecurity requirements.

You will collaborate with configuration management, cybersecurity, engineering, and the EDLM/UDLM managers to support mission-critical operations and maintain detailed records for inspections

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in data/media management or related fields.
• Experience with documentation and artifact tracking in regulated environments (DoD preferred).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and RMF support.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, validate, store, protect, and distribute documentation and media per DoD requirements.
• Lead semiannual inventories and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate handling, transfer, and destruction of artifacts per security and CM processes.
• Organize repositories for secure, traceable access by authorized users.
• Develop data management deliverables, including the Data Management Plan.
• Integrate data management with CM and cybersecurity processes.
• Support security compliance activities (vulnerability scans, risk assessments, evidence collection).
• Maintain records to support inspections, audits, and cybersecurity readiness.
• Coordinate with EDLM/UDLM Manager for urgent maintenance artifacts.
