Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems seeks a Data Manager / Analyst to support the DHS program in Washington, DC. You will manage and analyze datasets to inform decisions, develop dashboards with Power BI/Tableau, and help define data governance policies to improve operational effectiveness.

The role requires 4+ years of analytic experience, strong Excel and visualization tool expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams while ensuring data quality and security. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, information systems, or a closely related discipline; or significant information systems experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI and/or Tableau).
• Ability to manage multiple datasets and perform detailed analysis.
• Familiarity with data governance and federal reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Data Manager / Analyst to work with us supporting our DHS customer in Washington, DC. The Data Manager / Analyst supports the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Program by managing, organizing, and analyzing program-related data to inform decisions and improve operational effectiveness. This role ensures data integrity, produces detailed reports and dashboards, and supports the development of performance metrics and data governance policies.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Collect, clean, and maintain datasets to support program reporting and analytics.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:
