Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Data Manager / Analyst to support the DHS TARS program in Washington, DC. You will manage, clean, analyze datasets, build dashboards, and help establish data governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in data analytics, statistics, information systems or a closely related discipline.
  • Significant information systems experience in lieu of degree (2 years).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and one or more data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Ability to manage multiple datasets and perform detailed analysis.
  • Familiarity with data governance and federal reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Positive adjudication from a CBP Background Investigation.
  • Position requires some travel.

Job description

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Data Manager / Analyst to work with us supporting our DHS customer in Washington, DC. The Data Manager / Analyst supports the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Program by managing, organizing, and analyzing program-related data to inform decisions and improve operational effectiveness. This role ensures data integrity, produces detailed reports and dashboards, and supports the development of performance metrics and data governance policies.
