Job description

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.

BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government-compliant back-office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space. We are working with our client, Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE) to find their next highly skilled Data Manager.

About DSE

DSE, Inc. is a team of experienced professionals dedicated to engineering, training, and program management that enables front-line soldiers, sailors, and Marines to fully exploit the tactical capabilities of aviation and maritime platforms. We accomplish this by using the most qualified employees and keeping abreast of every new capability in aviation, maritime technologies, and simulation/training technology as it emerges. Our wide range of expertise is constantly expanding as we seek valued members of the DSE team and work to develop each of them to their fullest potential in the field. To this day, DSE continues to foster a work environment that supports ingenuity and the care for each member of the team.

The Role

The Data Manager will support NAVAIR's Presidential Helicopters Program Office (PMA-274), which equips, sustains, and supports Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), the unit that flies the aircraft known by the callsign Marine One. You'll plan, coordinate, track, review, and control technical and programmatic data and deliverables across the acquisition life cycle, working closely with government program personnel, engineering, logistics, configuration management, contracts, and acquisition teams to make sure required data gets identified, delivered, reviewed, distributed, maintained, and dispositioned correctly.

PMA-274 manages the VH-92A Patriot, which is replacing the VH-3D Sea King and VH-60N White Hawk as the helicopter that carries the President of the United States. It's one of the most visible, highest-scrutiny programs in naval aviation, and every CDRL you track and deliverable you keep on schedule feeds directly into that mission.

Why DSE

DSE doesn't just ask for your experience, it rewards it. DSE's PTO program is experience-based rather than tenure-based, meaning the relevant industry experience you bring with you can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one, rather than starting over at the bottom like you would at most employers. It's a rare structure in this industry, where most companies only reward the tenure you earn after you join, not the years of expertise you bring with you.

That same philosophy carries through the rest of the benefits package:

  • Starting salary range: $80,000 to $120,000 annually
  • 100% company-paid medical and dental premiums for employees (50% for dependents)
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match
  • Fully paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance, no cost to you
  • Employer-funded FSA plus HRA contributions toward your deductible
  • Experience-based PTO: your prior relevant experience can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one, plus the option to purchase additional PTO
  • 11 paid holidays (6 national, 5 floating)
  • Tuition reimbursement to support continued professional growth
Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation, and execution of the program's Data Management processes and procedures
  • Manage and track Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and associated Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs), CDRLs, DIDs, and other contractual documentation to identify, recommend, and clarify data requirements
  • Support development and maintenance of CDRL requirements, including preparation and coordination of DD Form 1423 documentation
  • Receive, process, track, distribute, and maintain contractor data deliverables
  • Coordinate government review of contractor deliverables with the appropriate technical and functional subject matter experts through the AMS CDRL Tool
  • Track review comments, contractor responses, approvals, rejections, revisions, and final dispositions
  • Facilitate Collaborative Reviews between the government and contractor when needed
  • Monitor CDRL delivery schedules and identify late, missing, incomplete, or noncompliant submissions
  • Maintain accurate status information and provide CDRL and data status reports to program leadership and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between government reviewers, program personnel, and contractor data representatives
  • Support resolution of data discrepancies, delivery issues, and contractual data requirement questions
  • Maintain organized electronic repositories and ensure appropriate document control, naming conventions, version control, and access
  • Support data calls, audits, program reviews, technical reviews, and other programmatic activities requiring documentation or deliverable status
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of Data Management Plans, procedures, trackers, metrics, and related program documentation
  • Facilitate Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs) alongside the Configuration Management Lead when necessary
  • Support acquisition planning and contract development activities involving technical data and data deliverables
  • Assist in reviewing proposed contract data requirements for completeness, duplication, applicability, delivery frequency, and program need
  • Support protection and appropriate handling of government, contractor-proprietary, controlled, and other sensitive information in accordance with applicable requirements
Required Education
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Acquisition, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant DoD, Navy, or NAVAIR experience may be considered in lieu of or in combination with formal education, depending on contractual labor-category requirements.
Required Experience
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain the clearance required for the position; U.S. citizenship required
  • Strong organizational and document-management skills, with speed and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across government and contractor teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience using electronic document repositories, collaboration platforms, or workflow and tracking systems
  • Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an integrated government and contractor team
  • Previous NAVAIR or Naval Aviation program office experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing CDRLs and DIDs, including DD Form 1423 preparation, is a plus
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and the acquisition life cycle is a plus
  • Experience with the AMS CDRL Tool workflow environment is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland
