Qualis is seeking a Data Manager responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat systems products in support of MDA and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System. The Data Manager is responsible for the management, integration, tracking, and distribution of Integrated Threat Packages (ITPs) and software applications to multiple customers. In the case of an ITP, this often includes collating all source data comprising the product into the ITP deliverable format. The candidate must be a detail-oriented person with the ability to visualize, coordinate, and execute the generation of the final product.

The Data Manager is also responsible for the final quality control (QC) of delivered media, ensuring that it is computer-readable prior to mass duplication. The individual will be required to duplicate the final delivery media (hard drive or DVD), correctly label and classify the media, package the media for shipment, generate shipping documents, update the customer database, update the tracking database, and deliver the packages to the MDIOC shipping center. The individual must be familiar with methods of tracking and reporting on classified shipments. The candidate must also be familiar with the proper storage of classified media and have knowledge of DoD regulations associated with generating, marking, and shipping classified products. The Data Manager will be responsible for maintaining product master storage and the database of all stored and shipped products.

  • Assist in the integration and distribution of deliverable threat products.
  • Implement program procedures and work collaboratively with production team members to account for all deliverable event products.
  • Manage the receipt of software requests and coordinate delivery to designated stakeholders.
  • Understand the various levels of classified information and appropriately apply this knowledge in all correspondence and product deliveries.
  • Interface with stakeholders, including customers, to address specific needs and issues and to detect, prevent, and/or minimize potential impacts to deliverable products.
  • Support the integration of addendum products and revisions using an organized tracking system to ensure the correct versions are delivered to stakeholders.
  • Maintain databases for tracking Engineering Change Requests, non-deliverables, and deliverables.
  • Participate in process improvement activities, contribute suggestions for adapting policies to specific situations, and update processes and procedures as required.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Data Management Plan, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Coordinate, track, and deliver contractual and non-contractual data for multiple contract task orders.
  • Assist in writing technical and non-technical documentation for program deliverables as needed.
  • Create working templates to ensure all deliverables and program documentation are consistent and properly marked.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or two years of experience in a technical field, or six years of experience in lieu of a degree; master's degree with one year of experience.
  • Must be familiar with DoD regulations associated with generating, marking, and shipping classified products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to support the accomplishment of team goals.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the DoD Guide for Marking Classified Documents and proper procedures for tracking, storing, and cataloging classified products.
  • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Must be familiar with basic Linux commands.
  • Must already possess an active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
